Camelot Nursing and Residential care home provides personal and nursing care for up to 36 guests living with age related frailties or health conditions. It is well positioned for easy access to the town centre, the sea front and bus and train services. The residence is accommodated in two large, detached houses that have been linked and extended. It has 36 bedrooms with 10 having en suite facilities. Each room has its own TV point and residents are encouraged to bring in their own personal effects to provide a familiar environment. There is a beautifully appointed dining room where residents may take meals that are prepared fresh on a daily basis. Activities on offer at Camelot take place in a well-equipped activities room that has an upright piano and keyboard. Guests play board games or enjoy arts and crafts supervised by Camelot’s own Activities Co-ordinator. Birthdays can be celebrated in a large lounge with families. Afternoon tea can be served in an outside area where visitors are able to spend time with a loved one.
