The Anchorage

The Anchorage care home is a residential care home that provides accommodation, personal care and dementia care for up to 36 guests living with the frailties of old age, sensory impairment, physical disability, memory-loss or mild to moderate stage dementia. It is located approximately 0.6 miles from the town centre in a single adapted building with a modern purpose-built wing. Many rooms have garden views. The residence offers bright communal spaces, comfortable bedrooms and a choice of activities. A team of chefs specialise in traditional home cooking using local produce where possible.
